GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN SEBAGAI GEMBALA KONSEPTUALISASI PERAN PASTORAL DALAM KONTEXT PENDIDIKAN FORMAL

Abstract
Metafora gembala merupakan konsep fundamental dalam teologi Kristen yang menggambarkan kepemimpinan yang melindungi, membimbing, dan memelihara. Dalam konteks pendidikan formal, guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) sering kali terjebak dalam tuntutan administratif dan kognitif, sehingga mengabaikan panggilan pastoralnya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkonseptualisasikan peran guru PAK sebagai gembala (shepherd teacher) dan implikasinya bagi pembentukan karakter serta kesehatan mental siswa. Menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur kualitatif-deskriptif, studi ini menganalisis sumber-sumber dari rentang tahun 2015-2024. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa guru sebagai gembala memegang mandat ganda: menggembalakan hati melalui pembinaan spiritual dan menggembalakan pengetahuan melalui integrasi iman dan ilmu. Strategi ini menuntut manajemen kelas yang berpusat pada kasih, hubungan relasional yang intim, dan penggunaan disiplin yang adil. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa reorientasi peran guru sebagai gembala sangat krusial dalam menciptakan ekosistem sekolah yang holistik dan memulihkan di era digital.
